Tenerife on film
Seven rolls, three cameras — a week on the island shot entirely on film.

Because I left my former employer at the end of June, I had a large chunk of overtime left in my time account — enough to take off to Tenerife with three friends. It was the first trip I ever shot entirely on film: three cameras, seven rolls of 36 exposures, developed at a local shop in Nuremberg and scanned at home.
The film stocks range from ISO 8 to ISO 800, so the island shows up here in very different moods — the ortho and Fantôme rolls turn the volcanic landscape into hard graphite, while the Portra frames hold onto the last warm light of the day.
